It’s a new episode of the Bristol Beats Club comedy podcast. Listen now!

Following the coming of March and the start of British springtime, music festivals have been the hot topic on many a music fan’s lips this week. Over at Bristol Beats Club HQ, we were only too happy to join the conversation – and therefore made music festival tales the central topic of this week’s comedy podcast.

And why wouldn’t we? After all, music festivals are bloody excellent, and reminiscing about them is usually just as good as experiencing them in the first place. Agreed? Good. Get the podcast on and have a listen to some of the Beats Club listeners’ more comical music festival anecdotes from years gone by.

Listen now and you’ll also be treated to two brand new features: Festival Focus (in which we put 2000Trees under the microscope to let you know whether or not the rock music festival is worth it’s £72 ticket price) and Let’s Kick Sexism Out of Rap Music (in which we suggest some alternative lyrics to Eminiem’s ‘Superman’).

As usual, our idle chit-chat is interspersed with cutting edge and classic indie and electro music. Tracks have been removed for legal reasons but featured this week were:

  • Pale Hands – Fanatic
  • Dexters – Cloudfest
  • Bloc Party – Flux
  • George Ezra – Budapest
  • The Fauns – 4am
  • The Wombats – Greek Tragedy
  • Cash + David – Bones
  • Crystal Castles – Celestica
  • Fickle Friends – Swim
  • The Libertines – Don’t Look Back Into The Sun
  • Catfish & the Bottlemen – Kathleen

So please, listen away. Oh, and podcast listeners, we’ll be discussing getting short-changed and/or ripped off on next week’s podcast. Have you ever received appalling service? Bought a faulty item? Purchased something with a missing part? Send your stories across to info@bristolbeatsclub.com.

Finally, subscribe to the podcast on iTunes. That is all.
