A quick introduction to bristol band the fauns, who chat to us about their unique songwriting process and new track 4am

It was the Fauns’ video for new single 4am that first caught our attention. It was the sheer beauty of the track behind said video that kept us hooked.

And it wasn’t just us that fell in love with the song. 4am received prominent airplay on 6 Music. Steve Lamacq took a particular interest and added the single to his Rebel Playlist. From there the track was elevated to the station’s daytime playlist… and it was at about that time that we thought we better hunt the guys down.

Hunt them down we did and, once again in a dark and dingy home studio somewhere in St Werburghs, we asked them a few questions.

Listen to the above podcast to hear their responses. And keep listening to hear 4am, the new single that skyrocketed the band’s cult following.

And before you go, one final thing!
